2023 Harvest Cellar Hand

Pisoni Family Vineyards is a small-production, ultra-premium winery in Rohnert Park, Sonoma County. Our focus is on Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Syrah from our estate-grown vineyards in the Santa Lucia Highlands.

We are a small, tight-knit team that is looking for motivated and hard-working Harvest Cellar Hands for the 2023 vintage. This position will be involved in many aspects of the winemaking process, from fruit processing through fermentation.

We have a focused and studious approach to our winemaking and encourage the same from our harvest team. We highly value close attention to detail, good communication, and a positive attitude.

Please be aware that this is a seasonal position beginning in August and continuing through October, possibly longer depending on the season. The August start date includes bottling, which then carries into harvest.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Cleaning and sanitizing winery and all winery equipment· Performing punch-downs and pump-overs of red fermentation tanks· Hand fruit sorting· Performing tank dig outs· Chemical, nutrient and yeast additions to juice and wine· Operating harvest crush equipment, including sorting table, distemper and bladder press· Racking juice and wine· Barrel filling, topping, stirring and general maintenance· Forklift driving· Packing cases, stacking pallets and other tasks required throughout bottling

Additional requirements:

· Lift 50 lbs.· Climb stairs and ladders· Walk/stand/bend/stoop/kneel for extended periods of time· Reach/pull/push· Adhere to all established safety protocols· Have a reliable source of transportation· Clean driver’s record

Pay: DOE

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekend availability
