We are seeking a Workday Analyst whowill join our team, You will be responsible for managing and optimizing Workday functionality in the areas of Compensation, Absence Management, and Time Tracking. You will work closely with HR, IT, and other business stakeholders to ensure system configurations are aligned with business needs and compliance requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Workday modules and a deep understanding of HR processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Compensation:
- Manage and configure compensation structures in Workday, including salary plans, bonus plans, stock options, and merit increases.
- Support annual compensation cycles such as merit reviews, bonuses, and promotions.
Absence Management:
- Oversee absence management workflows in Workday, ensuring accurate tracking of paid time off (PTO), sick leave, and other leave types.
- Work with HR to configure absence plans and monitor the process for compliance with legal requirements.
- Provide support for time-off policies and resolution of related system issues.
Time Tracking:
- Configure and support time tracking processes in Workday to ensure accurate timekeeping for hourly and salaried employees.
- Monitor timekeeping and attendance workflows, resolving issues related to system errors or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with business units to optimize time entry and reporting.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for system improvements and optimizations across all Workday modules, focusing on streamlining processes and enhancing user experience.
- Provide technical support and guidance to HR users and stakeholders regarding system functionality.
Reporting & Analytics:
- Design and implement customized reports and dashboards related to Compensation, Absence, Time Tracking, and Talent.
- Ensure data accuracy and compliance with internal and external reporting standards.
Required Skills:
- Degree in Computer Science, information systems, or HR.
- Advanced/Native verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish (Required).
- Over 5 years of experience in the field of Information Technology, extensively working on implementing and supporting day-to-day administration and operations of People Technology
- Workday HCM Pro Certified (desired)
- Adept in identifying and solving business problems and implementing appropriate technology solutions
- Ability to work cross-functionally with various stakeholders and team members.
- In-depth knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) phases such as Requirement analysis, Design, Development, Testing, and Deployment.
- Agile, Waterfall across the span of various projects.
- Experienced in analyzing and preparing Project Deliverables such as Business Requirement Document (BRD), Functional Design Document (FDD), and Configuration Design Document (CDD).
- Proficient in preparing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) documents and Post Implementation Validation (PIV) documents.
- Knowledge of EIB Inbound integrations, Report Writer and Calculated Fields
- Excellent team player with result-oriented, fast learner and excellent communication skills
