• We are seeking a proactive and passionate Senior QA Software Engineer to join our development team. In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products through rigorous testing, early feedback and valuable insights for the team and will focus on continuous improvements.. You will collaborate with developers and other team members to identify and resolve issues, ensuring our end users receive an exceptional experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and conduct experiential and exploratory tests for web and mobile
• applications. Work closely with the automation team to optimize and expand
• automated test coverage, ensuring more robust feature validation.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements, agree on
• acceptance criteria for user stories and design effective test strategies.
• Identify, log, and track software defects, providing clear and concise
• information.
• Perform thorough exploratory testing on both new features and existing
• functionality. Conduct regression testing to ensure product stability after
• updates or bug fixes and to create the input for the automation team.
• Be able to run and do small fixes and maintenance over the existing
• automation suite.
• Participate in sprint planning sessions providing input on testing timelines,
• strategies, and potential risks..
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of testing documentation
• and user manuals to ensure comprehensive test coverage and product
• clarity.
• Analyze and propose improvements to current processes, best practices and
• solutions
• Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in software
• testing and quality assurance.

Requirements

• Advanced student or graduate in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, including mobile
• application testing.
• knowledge of all aspects of the testing process.
• API testing using tools like Postman, or similar, for validating service
• interactions.
• Log analysis and debugging
• Understanding tech specifications
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Experience testing web and mobile applications
• Understanding of systems and interactions between assigned features, bugs
• and test case management systems.

Qualifications

• Intermediate or advanced English language proficiency, with the ability to
• communicate effectively in both written and spoken forms.
• Experience in developing automated tests and familiarity with test
• automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of SQL for querying and validating data in databases.
• Hands-on experience with continuous integration tools such as GitHub
• Actions, Argo CD, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and a solid understanding of the
• software development lifecycle in Agile environments.
• Previous experience in the tourism industry is an advantage but not required.
• Ability to train and mentor colleagues with lower seniority
• Ability to educate other roles apart from QA about testing and quality.
