Responsibilities

• Design and develop sophisticated backend systems using Java
• Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure
• Oversee complex database migration projects from Oracle to PostgreSQL
• Implement caching mechanisms to enhance system performance
• Conduct performance tuning to address scalability challenges
• Troubleshoot and resolve backend performance issues
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of backend solutions with business objectives
• Ensure performance and reliability of backend services
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in backend development processes

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of backend development experience with Java
• Experience with database management and successful migration projects
• Knowledge of AWS cloud services and architecture
• Proficiency in writing and consuming RESTful web services
• Experience with Relational Databases like MySQL and Oracle
• Capability to write acceptance criteria and execute regression testing
• Familiarity with GitHub, Jira and Confluence
• Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Adobe Experience Cloud
• Familiarity with Magento e-commerce platform
• Background in PHP
