Responsibilities

• Design sophisticated backend systems utilizing Java
• Optimize and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure
• Oversee database migration projects from Oracle to PostgreSQL
• Implement caching strategies to improve system efficiency
• Address scalability concerns through performance tuning
• Analyze and resolve complex backend performance issues
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align backend solutions with business needs
• Maintain the reliability and performance of backend systems
• Promote constant advancements in backend development practices

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in backend development with Java
• Background in database management and successful migration efforts
• Knowledge of AWS cloud architecture and services
• Proficiency in working with RESTful web services
• Skills in managing relational databases such as MySQL and Oracle
• Capability to write acceptance criteria and conduct regression testing
• Familiarity with tools like GitHub, Jira, and Confluence
• English proficiency at a B2+ level or higher

Nice to have

• Expertise in Adobe Experience Cloud
• Familiarity with the Magento e-commerce platform
• Background in PHP
