The role -

As PMI continues to implement our manufacturing excellence program, we are looking for an experienced OPEN+ Deployment Lead at our Massalin factory. Our aim is to unleash people capabilities, achieve a step change in performance, drive innovation through increasing organization reliability and agility in our manufacturing facility.

As the successful candidate, you will drive OPEN+ deployment in an integrated and collaborative way to increase engagement and ownership locally with our factory team, delivering, deliver value through adopting and improving PMI best practices in a standardized and systematic way. It is an exciting leadership experience opportunity in the transformation journey of PMI Manufacturing.

Your ‘day to day -

  • Understand and deploy PMI Operational Excellence ‘OPEN+ strategies and plans in PMI which covers all Integrated Operating Systems (IOS) such as Pillars, Daily Management Systems (DMSs), Standard Work Processes (SWPs) and Tools.
  • Ensure overall governance of the OPEN+ deployment in Business Units and Departments in order to contribute to site Zero Loss Journey and Compelling Business Need. Drive IOS capability building activities and provide on the floor IOS coaching regularly.
  • Monitor KPIs improvement trends throughout IOS deployment, support loss analyses journey and identify the system gaps with link to specific performance losses.
  • Ensure OPEN+ methods, standards and processes are up-to-date and totally compliant to global standards.
  • Collect and assess IOS related best practices and improvement ideas from Business Units and Departments, collaborate with Global OPEN+ Team in order to propose new current best approaches and standards.
  • Drive communication and visualization of OPEN+ deployment actions and Manufacturing of Future roadmap to guarantee maximum awareness and support of organization.
  • Ensure full compliance with local legislation and company policies and practices. Adhere to all Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) rules, policies and practices and be a role model to all other employees.

Who were looking for:

  • University in Degree in Engineering, Production, Manufacturing or related topics
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a Production/Manufacturing environment where IWS, TPM, WCM, Integrated Lean Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, etc was a key and influential part of day-to-day operations.
  • Active involvement and proven experience with similar Lean Manufacturing principles and initiatives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English are highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership capability with further growth potential
  • Collaborative team player who keeps customer orientation at the core
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including coaching ability, collaboration, teamwork, customer orientation, quick learning, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English
