Job Purpose
The Senior Project Executive (Govt) plans projects and takes ownership of the successful implementation and achievement of project objectives. He/She defines project resources, manages project progress, and facilitates interaction and tasks of various parties to reduce the risk of overall failure. He applies knowledge and skills in project management, project planning, risk/issue management, budgets and methodologies. As such, he/she needs to have some understanding of the different phases of Project Management from "Initiating" to "Closing" and be able to proficiently utilise the organisation’s project management system.
Responsibilities
Accountable for the start-to-finish delivery of complex, high-value or strategic projects with high quality, within budget and according to agreed schedule and users’ requirements
Front clients, provide status updates and ensure customer satisfaction is achieved
Manage relationships and align with diverse teams of internal/external stakeholders
Actively plan, manage and report project scope, schedules, cost and resources
Monitor resource utilization to facilitate planning & scheduling of resources
Identify, assess and manage the risks/issues of the project, and take appropriate prevention action or resolution
Manage escalations and project scope creep or mitigates it when it occurs, or changes in users’ requirements according to Change Control processes, schedule slippage, technical problems and shortages of resources
Work closely with business/product managers and support teams to ensure end objectives are met
Willingness to take on additional functions, such as, involve in project (PMO) governance and process, participate in presales activities, and etc.

Qualifications
Accredited University Degree or Diploma in Project Management, Information Technology or related discipline
Must possess Project Management Certification, e.g. CITPM, PMP, PRINCE2, SCRUM/Agile, etc.
Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience, preferably in medium to large scale ICT projects in various industries, including Government, Statutory Boards or affiliated agencies (G50 Cleared)
Possess some knowledge of PMO or understands (and be able to apply) project management governance and process
Ability to demonstrate experience in managing diverse groups of stakeholders & clients
Possess excellent interpersonal, presentation, negotiation and communication skills including ability to influence and communicate to all levels of stakeholders
Able to multi-task and is result-oriented, with energy and able to deliver in a very fast-paced environment
Logical and analytic approach in handling situations, problems or issues

Ability to work independently with minimum supervision

Inquisitive learner, good team spirit and willingness to take up new challenges with positive personality and mindset
