The V-280 Program Build Team Producibility Engineer oversees all EMD and Production build functions to include Manufacturing Producibility support to the respective Engineering IPT. The Engineer will work closely with the Supply Chain organization by proing programmatic support to supplier technical management. Responsibilities include managing planning and leading the integrated build project for the Bell V-280 Valor.

Position Responsibilities:

• Holds primary responsibility for producibility reviews of the Design, Manufacturing and Configuration for metallicponent fabrication and assembly.

• Lead on Metallic Component Manufacturing Plans – ensuring timely development, production, fielding, and sustainment of a best value product.

• Serves as programmatic lead for Risk Reduction, Test Builds and Assembly on EMD aircraft of responsible parts.

• Primary conduit between V-280 Program Teams and Manufacturing Innovation / Ra Prototyping and is responsible for program-levelmunications between internal teams.

• Is the primary conduit between V-280 design and build IPTs supporting Drives, Rotors, Wing, Empennage and Structures System design and optimization efforts.

• Key coordinator of planning and tooling team manpower requirements to support major assembly execution efforts, including documentation of current and future funding levels and team makeup.

• Key contributor to program-level decision making and objectives, with expertise in Bell management systems and in experimental and production processes.

• Develops and collects programmatic metrics and supporting data to progress build.

• Key Contributor to the future Production Factory Plans.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering technology, or an associate degree in engineering technology with additional years’ experience may be conered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of related experience in aircraft manufacturing, production engineering, development and testing of aerospace/defense systems, with specific experience in Bell business system processes is required.

• Must have strong working knowledge of the following Software Tools – CATIA 3DX, SAP, ENOVIA, Experimental and Production MES systems.

Preferred Requirements:

• Six Sigma Certification is preferred.
