The Digital Innovation Group (DIG) at Proence is a small but mighty product development and incubation team. We build next-gen tools that give patients convenient and easy access to health care anywhere, anytime.

DIG is both a healthcare startup and a technology/product incubator. Our team gathers market data on effective solutions in the health care space and then builds out a product line with the latest and greatest technology. When market maturity hits, DIG enables the product to spin out as its ownpany. It is a unique mix of venture capitalists, digital strategists, marketing acumen, product development and engineering all in one group nestled ine one of the largest health systems. We set the pace for other health care organizations around the country on how to conceive, engineer and launch effective health care solutions.

SUMMARY

This is a vital management role for the Digital Innovation Group at Proence, reporting to the AVP of Product Design and Insights.

As a Principal User Experience Researcher, youentify which problems are key for our health system to solve. Through your deep understanding of patients’ needs and health system challenges, your research will set the foundation for solutions that not only help Proence deliver the best patient experiences, but other health systems as well. You will work collaboratively with design, analytics and product managers from design concept to launch. Products we build include web, mobile and emerging technologies such as AI. As such, expertise with a variety of design research and usability testing methods is critical.

Key goals are:

• Demonstrated skills in up leveling research findings into essential user insights and impactful product implications, developing insights-driven frameworks, synthesizing findings across research sources, weaving together qualitative and quantitative findings to deliver a holistic understanding of users.
• Create concise, integrated, andpelling stories and facilitate brainstorming/design sprints.
• Conduct research ges the exploration of the range of possibilities for the vision for the product/service.
• Employ usability methods to vaate information architecture, interaction design, and graphic design.
• Versed in moreplex methodologies such as contextual inquiry and taxonomy research. Employs mixed method research to help ge product strategy.
• Research toolbox goes beyond traditional user testing and branches into statistical analysis and instrumentation research.
• Develop conclusions and drives actionable gance on the human perspective into the product vision that has product/service and business strategy impact with the appropriate engineering and business stakeholders, across the division.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

In this position you:

• key stakeholders inentifying business requirements.
• Research customer & business value of a product line and sets of features.
• Define and optimize usability research methods at the team level (such as heuristics, focus groups, or baseline studies) and applies the most effective method for product/service research questions.
• Works closely with design to develop prototypes that researchplex user issues and design solutions.
• Presents work to senior stakeholders across the organization, including objects, strategy, and creative executions.

EXPERIENCE:

• At least 7 years of relevant industry experience in human factors (e.g., humanputer interaction, human-centered design, human-centered design and engineering) Information systems (e.g., information architecture, information design, knowledge management, information science, information management, information experience design, informatics, information systems), social science (e.g., psychology, cognitive science, anthropology,puter science and/or user experience research
• Demonstrated problem solving skills.
• Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations; live, via online or virtual mediums.
• Online portfolio demonstrating user research work.
