Vistra is searching for a temporary HR Generalist to fill a medical leave estimated to be one month long.
The Generalist will manage onboarding & offboarding, employee relations, benefits administration. The role will also assist with annual HR processes and other projects. This role will support the United States, Canada, Cayman & British Virgin Islands. Experience oute of the US is not required.
The role is mostly remote. In-office work up to 1-2 days a week may be required as needed. Training can be conducted in the office if desired!
Key Responsibilities:
˙ Acts as the first point of contact for general HR inquiries from employees and managers
˙ Conduct new hire orientations, enter benefit enrollments, track new hire benefits topletion, and process I9s
˙ Conduct exit interviews
˙ Collaborate with HR Shared Service Center (HRSSC) colleagues for new hire onboarding paperwork and background processes, verifications of employment, etc.
˙ Compile semi-monthly payroll changes for submission to Payroll.
˙ Maintain HR systems and employee data, ensure hires are entered accurately, and audits system data focused on data integrity.
˙ Manages employee leave of absence, ensuringpanypliance in all states/countries we employ in.
˙ Review, audit, and submit benefit invoices to AP. Act as a point of contact for AP on HR billing inquiries
˙ Sits on the employee socialmittee as HR rep, proing updates on initiatives and gaining cost approval from HRBP.
˙ First point of contact for annual HR calendar processes including performance management,pensation reviews, and objective setting.
˙ Leads employee engagement initiatives and internalmunications focused on increasing employee satisfaction, engagement, and retention.
˙ Other duties assigned
Experience Required:
˙ 2+ years in an HR Generalist, Assistant or Coordinator role
˙ Demonstrated understanding of US employment laws and a willingness to learn cross-border laws and grow understanding of assigned locations
˙ Willing and able to attend occasional early morning meetings (7am) to collaborate with our global colleagues
˙ Demonstrated experience being a team player and being self-motivated

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
