About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Resiliency Officer (Senior Business Accountability Specialist) to drive and deliver on business resiliency strategy for aligned risk areas across Corporate Risk. This role will report to the Corporate Risk Resiliency Leader and will join a team focused on facilitating and ensuring adherence to Enterprise Business Resiliency policy and requirements. This is a critical role in ensuring our risk areas are adequately prepared to respond to disruptions and effectively carry out critical responsibilities. In this role, you will:
  • Act as the primary advisor to assigned risk areas to ensure that business continuity plans for all business functions are implemented, documented, exercised, maintained, andply with Enterprise Business Resiliency requirements.
  • Serve as subject matter expert regarding Enterprise Business Resiliency policy, procedures, requirements, and metrics - i.e. advising on whatpliance looks like and what drives/resolves gaps.
  • Support the development of business resiliency plans to ensure adequate strategies are being developed, documented, and tested (i.e. proe input, credible challenge, and ensure consistency across aligned risk areas); monitor and escalate plan deficiencies
  • Perform Resiliency Officer reviews on Business Impact Analysis (BIA), Functional Exercise, and other exercise artifacts to ensure quality andpliance with Enterprise requirements.
  • Proactively monitor reporting to ensure aligned risk areas remain inpliance with key risk indicators and management metrics - when gaps arise, drive development of go-to-green plans and timely remediation.
  • Onboard new resiliency managers/coordinators to educate on roles, responsibilities, and expectations.
  • Proe training and gance to resiliency managers/coordinators onpletion of required Exercise & Maintenance deliverables.
  • Manage Exercise & Maintenance schedule/dates on behalf of aligned risk areas
  • Support coordination of business end user vaation for enterprise data center exercises (4 weekends).
  • Assist resiliency managers and coordinators during inent response and facilitate status reporting to Resiliency Leader.
  • Assist Resiliency Leader in execution against resiliency vision and strategic priorities
Required Qualifications, US:
  • 4+ years of risk management, business controls, quality assurance, business operations,pliance, or process experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or abination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with Business Resiliency planning requirements
  • Knowledge and understanding of Business Continuity Plan (BCP) principles, regulatory gance, and industry trends.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, including the ability to manipulate large data files into a consumable format and transpose into meaningful action for business partners.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonalmunication skills
  • Experience in facilitating meetings and ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and management.
  • Strong organization and analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and work under pressure in a dynamic and matrixed environment.
  • Ability to execute against deliverables with minimal supervision and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Experience with documenting procedures to establish repeatable processes
  • Experience with performing controls and ensuring adherence to enterprise policies and programs.
  • Meaningful knowledge of risk management frameworks, including riskentification, risk appetite and strategy, risk-related decisions, processes and controls, risk analytics and governance.
Job Expectations:
  • Willingness to work weekends/off-hours (as needed) when business disruptions or data center exercises occur.
