Job DescriptionThe Senior Generalist supports HR management with the planning, organizing and implementation of HR strategies in support of the organization s overall strategic objectives, while ensuring that employment policies are inpliance with government regulations.
To perform this job successfully, an indiual must be able to perform each essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. Additionally, the person must possess and adhere to the following corepany values:

Responsibilities
- Manages administration of HR policies, procedures, and programs
- Responds to inquiries regarding policies and procedures
- Handle team member concerns/questions regarding insurance, payroll, vacation/sick time, leaves of absence, etc.
- Liaison between the Benefits and Payroll/HRIS Department and team members/managers
- Partner with Talent Acquisition in all matters regarding requisitions, hiring, and transfers
- Assist in managing leaves of absence
- Attend unemployment hearings as necessary
- Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations in response to a range of employee relations concerns, including discrimination, retaliation, policy violations, EEOC claims, etc.
- Use effective interviewing and documentation techniques
- Communicate regularly regarding pending investigations and proes timely investigation reports with supporting documentation
- Counsel leadership staff on employee relations issues
- Partner with senior management and legal to facilitate prompt and effective resolution of workplace concerns
- Partners with leadership tomunicate Team Member Services policies, procedures, and programs
- Facilitates supervisor training, new-hire orientation, open enrollment sessions, and other training classes as needed
- Maintain conentiality in all areas including, but not limited to, personnel actions, legal actions, terminations, and organizational plans
- Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising leadership on needed actions
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personalworks; participating in professional organizations
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university
- General working knowledge of employment laws and practices
- Excellentputer skills including Microsoft Office
- Effective oral and writtenmunication skills
- Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience
- Bilingual English & Spanish strongly preferred
- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations PHR or SPHR strongly preferred
