IS Specialist

Summary:

As an IS Specialist for the largest Asian supermarket chain in the United States, you will play a crucial role in proing technical support, optimizing system processes, and contributing to the successful implementation of new store openings and IT projects. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring effectivemunication with various departments, conducting testing and training, andentifying opportunities for leveraging enterprise systems to achieve organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

˙ Address store requests for application troubleshooting, ensuring timely resolution to technical issues.

˙ Collaborate with store personnel to proe IS assistance and support in a retail environment.

˙ Analyze and optimize system processes to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

˙ Analyze physical inventory counts results and support new stores opening regarding systems on-site.

˙ Contribute to the development and implementation of improvements for existing IS systems.

˙ Proe technical support for system setup and configuration during new store openings, both remotely and on-site.

˙ Collaborate with various teams to ensure a smooth IS integration process for new store locations.

˙ Establish effectivemunication channels with technical and non-technical departments toentify key tasks and project deadlines.

˙ Proe status reports and ensure project-oriented work efforts remain stable and on track.

˙ Conduct testing of project applications toentify and resolve issues before deployment.

˙ Document business processes and create end-user training materials, SOPs, and checklists for new applications.

˙ Conduct end-user and operations training to ensure proper utilization of new applications and systems.

˙ Facilitate final assessments for management trainees related to system proficiency.

˙ Assist management inentifying opportunities to leverage the Enterprise Resource Planning

˙ (ERP) system to achieve enterprise goals.

˙ Collaborate with relevant teams to implement effective ERP strategies and solutions.

˙ Undertake any other tasks assigned by management to support IT operations and initiatives.

˙ Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualification:

˙ A Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

˙ 1+ year of retail experience, preferably in a supermarket or grocery store setting.

˙ Bilingual in English and Chinese and able tomunicate verbally and in writing effectively.

˙ Willingness to travel to other states is required.

˙ Proficiency in MS Office, Point of Sale (POS) systems, and any Enterprise Systems used within the organization.

˙ Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with diverse teams.

˙ Strong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.

˙ Strong attention to detail skills in addressing technical issues and project requirements.

˙ Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision while being a team player when necessary.

˙ Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Physical Requirements:

˙ Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on aputer.

˙ This job may require standing or walking for extended periods of time, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing repetitive motions.

Working Conditions:

˙ Ability to work effectively in a technical environment, handling various hardware and software tools.

Compensation:

The pay range for this job starts at $20/Hr. - $25/Hr. during the training period and $65,000/year after passing the training period.
