We are a growing, global partnership with offices in Europe, North America, and South America.

Exus is seeking a Accounting Associate - Corporate & IPP that will will assist the IPP accountants with day-to-day activities, primarily with cash reconciliation and billing. They will be support in reviewing financial transactions, with a blend of recurring accounting functions and variable projects.

‍Please note: this is an fully onsite role with 4 days in office, 1 day remote, with reasonable flexibility in our downtown Pittsburgh office.

‍‍Key Responsibilities:

• Support the IPP Account(s) in the management of day-to-day accounting activities to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal policies.
• Assist the IPP Accountant(s) on monthly/quarterly management financial and metric reporting and monthly variance analysis.
• Assist the IPP Accountant(s) to prepare journal entries and account reconciliations as part of the general ledger month-end process.
• Input financial data into accounting systems and assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.
• Support with the transition of Landowner accounting functions, specifics to be determined.

‍Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in accounting required.
• 1+ years of public or private industry experience required.
• Solid technical knowledge of US GAAP.
• Proficiency in accounting and financial principles, regulations, and accounting software.
• Experience in managing and coordinating multiple projects and meeting deadlines preferred.
• Wind and/or solar energy project development, renewable energy industry and partnership experience preferred through not required.
