This Clinic Office Specialist position provides administrative support to the University Physical Therapy (UPT) Clinic Management and the Division of Physical Therapy. Clinical duties will include working at clinic locations by planning and carrying out daily work activities and responsibilities of the clinic, based on the priorities and judgement of the UPT Clinic Manager. This position will work closely with the Clinical Practice Manager and the Division Director to manage the daily workload, organizing duties based on the priorities and needs of the clinic and the division, and being responsible for performing a variety of administrative duties.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
High school diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Experience providing administrative support to multiple employees and stakeholders. Experience handling confidential information and communicating with people in a professional, courteous manner. Excellent phone skills. Ability to multi-task.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Associate Degree in Medical Office Assistance, Business Administration, Healthcare Management Technology, or other related degree from an accredited two-year program with one year healthcare experience or equivalent education or work experience. Previous work experience in a clinical setting. Experience with the electronic health record system, EPIC. Specific functions in EPICinclude: Cadence and Schegistrar training, charge entry and use of Front Desk
