Animal Emergency Clinic of the Hudson Valley is hiring a Client Service Representative for our location in Kingston, NY!

Seeking one full-time employee for this role. Availability to work weekends, evenings and holidays required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answers telephone calls quickly, efficiently and in a professional and friendly manner using a multi-line system
• Warmly greets clients
• Prepares patient files
• Receives and relays client correspondence and updates client financial records
• Answers client’s inquiries about basic animal care questions and routine procedures
• Admits patients and handles medical records entries accurately
• Prepares client invoices for services performed
• Handles payment transactions.
• Receives and relays telephone, fax, and email messages accurately and promptly

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience working as a Veterinary Receptionist / CSR is preferred but not required
• Significant experience with basic office functions in a busy office environment
• Must be a team player and have compassion for pets and their people
• Must have a flexible schedule and be able to step into shifts on evenings, weekends and holidays.

Animal Emergency Clinic of the Hudson Valley (AECHV) was founded in 1989 and is comprised of two, state-of-the-art equipped, and staffed hospitals located in Kingston and Poughkeepsie, New York. The hospitals are community founded and supported by the local general practice community. They are an exclusively emergency clinic and are equipped with ventilators, cardiac monitoring, in house laboratory and ultrasound and dedicated support staff.
