We are looking for a Data Entry Clerk to type information into our case management database from faxed documents, emails and client calls. The ideal candidate will be computer savvy, and a fast typist, with a keen eye for detail. This position would be a good fit for someone with legal/investigative administrative experience.

The company will rely on you for producing accurate and updated data within our system that is easily accessible to all members of the company. This role will report to an Office Manager and assist the Finance Manager as well. Some experience with QuickBooks or other bookkeeping software required. There will be some time spent assisting other administrators with general office duties.

  • Transfer data from these sources to our database.
  • Type in data provided directly from clients.
  • Verify data by comparing it to source documents.
  • Update existing data.

Skills (Please complete both skills test for consideration):

  • Proven experience as data entry clerk/typist.
  • 50 WPM minimum typing speed; excellent knowledge of MS Office.
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, computer hardware, and peripheral devices.
  • Basic understanding of databases.
  • Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • High school degree or equivalent.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 – $21.00 per hour
