The role you’ll contribute:

Campus Adjuncts are employed by the University to teach didactic courses which are offered on campus. Campus Adjuncts develop, design and deliver instruction in collaboration with the course coordinator and review and assist with revision as needed for department policies and procedures. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Upload the course syllabus to the course management system by the first day of class
• Develop, design and deliver instruction, in collaboration with the course coordinator as indicated
• Engage in the academic roles of teaching, service, scholarship and service
• Take attendance each class period. Attendance taking is required at AHU. Non-attendance is to be reported to the Office of the Registrar
• Grade examinations and assignments and review evaluations with students, meet all established deadlines set by the University for tastings, assignments, grade submissions, and report presentation and submission.
• Exhibits characteristics of a Christian professional. Engages in the academic roles of teaching, service, scholarship, and research.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Doctoral degree in Nurse Anesthesia, Nursing, Education, or other higher education degree
• Graduate degree in Nurse Anesthesia specialty
• One year current experience in clinical practice as nurse anesthetist

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

• Three years teaching experience at the graduate level.
• Three years current experience in clinical practice as nurse anesthetist

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:

• Current, valid State of Florida license as an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN)
• Current certification/recertification as certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA)
