Job Responsibilities
30% Project Coordination- Manage and advise implementation, procedure development and UAT testing for new ERP system along with Director of Finance. Streamline and document accounting policies and procedures as it relates to the new accounting and finance systems. Support the Controller and Director of Finance as needed on various other special projects.
25% Accounting Operations- Manage new system processes from a central point of view to ensure proper utilization and while maximizing system efficiencies. Engage with all business lines on a cross functional level. Ensure compliance with new lease accounting standard, including preparing monthly journal entries and reconciliations. Prepare financial statements in conjunction with the Controller. Serve as a back-up for investment oversight and accounting for the club.
15% General Ledger & Reconciliation- Review and complete a detailed analysis of all monthly General Ledger, reconciliations for cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, inventory, prepaid expense, and deferred revenue.
10% Audit Assistance- In conjunction with the Controller, assist with the preparation and review of year-end audit documentation for external auditors. Support Accounting team with internal audits.
10% Leadership- Identify, recruit and retain top performing employees; manage nonperforming employees in accordance with company policy. Manage withthe intent to motivate, train and develop. Provide timely, constructive feedback regarding progress of work and performance. Make well informed decisions,demonstrate initiative, use sound judgment, exhibit autonomy, and execute.
10% Budgeting, Forecasting Reporting- Collaborate with the financial reporting team with forecast and budget processes. Analyze variances to ensurebudget/forecast accuracy; report any discrepancies to department managers and accounting management. Support with providing prepopulated amounts forbudget and forecast input. Prepare schedules to assist with cash flow forecasting and monthly forecasting.
Job Specific Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, as well as other business line software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, including good customer service skills with both internal and external contacts.
- Strong accounting skills to include with advanced analytical, decision making and judgment skills.

Experience
Required
- Managerial experience.
- 6 year(s): Experience with system implementation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, budgets, and forecasts.
Education
Required
- Bachelors or better in Accounting or related field
