D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for an
Office Assistant
for their Main Office Department. The right candidate will provide support with the daily activities of the office including filing, telephone coverage, and general clerical assistance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain Division files. Keep filing current and create new files as needed

  • Deliver mail and faxes

  • Retrieve voicemail messages

  • Distribute outgoing items

  • Drop off outgoing mail at post office

  • Troubleshoot any problems with office machinery. Call for maintenance if necessary

  • Order and stock office supplies

  • Clean out refrigerator regularly

  • Assist other departments as schedule allows

  • Relieve the Receptionist for breaks and lunch

  • Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

  • Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
  • Six months to one year of related experience and/or training
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications
  • Proficiency with MS Office and email

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and attention to detail
