Description:

Premier Infrastructure & Energy is looking for a Part-time Office Administrator to work in our Bohemia, NY office. This individual would have the overall responsibility of making sure our office runs efficiently and smoothly. The position will be 25 hours per week (schedule either 3 full days per week or Monday through Friday for 5 hours each day) but has the possibility of going fulltime.

Responsibilities:

  • All general workplace email communications; including office closings, Holiday reminders, birthday and anniversary emails, etc
  • Managing inventory of work apparel
  • Managing office supply orders; including collecting supply order requests, placing orders and distributing supplies
  • Daily mail scanning and distribution to all departments
  • Maintaining the organization of the office building
  • Assist departments with administrative tasks, such as assembling New Hire Folders, scanning receipts, answering main phone line and transferring calls to appropriate departments, etc.
  • Assist HR with recruitment process
  • Other administrative tasks as needed—data entry, maintaining spreadsheets, package drop-off at Post Office, booking travel

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Experience using Excel

– Experience with Google Suite- email, shared drive, Google Sheets/Forms/Docs

  • Good communication skills and phone etiquette
  • Excellent organized with strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, able to take initiative
