Temple Ohev Sholom has an immediate opening for and is seeking a Part-Time Office Administrator to join our team. This position requires someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and time-management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Answering phone calls and responding to emails in a timely manner
  • Scheduling appointments and meetings
  • Managing calendars and updating schedules
  • Maintaining accurate records and files
  • Preparing reports and presentations
  • Assisting with bookkeeping and basic accounting tasks
  • Preparing office correspondence
  • Handling incoming and outgoing mail
  • Ensuring office equipment is maintained and in working order
  • Performing other duties as assigned


  • High school diploma or equivalent work history
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in an office setting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Meet, etc)
  • Familiarity with basic accounting principles is a plus, but not required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively
  • Reliable and punctual
