Position Overview:
Summer Targeted Services (Learning Academy) social worker/counselor to provide support for summer learners at Hayes Elementary and Fridley Middle School. Applicants will be able to run small groups and also work in classrooms to help deliver instruction and social and emotional skills.

Essential Job Functions:
Ability to work with small groups and collaborate with classroom teachers
Deliver social and emotional strategies to students
Communication with parents (as needed)
Help oversee any meal distribution such as Every Meal

Qualifications:
Social Work, School Counselor, or teaching degree needed

Working Conditions:
Applicants may travel between sites and will work between and 3 and 4 hours, dependent upon the school
Summer Programming will run from June 20 to July 20 (Monday – Thursday)
Up to three hours of prep time will be allowed the week of June 12
