Job Summary Buyer SR

• Job Description:
• Leads evaluation and selection of suppliers within the tail portfolio, understands the business needs in terms of quality, service, and specs, and aims to cost efficiency on the assigned portfolio for sites in scope.
• Understands and is updated on business needs and its evolution regarding product changes, forecasts and critical product demand.
• Participates on Core Strategy Teams for materials and services in the Efficiency and/or Essential Quadrants.
• Negotiates prices following the market trends and business strategies and identifies opportunities in cost optimization driving continuous improvement.
• Strong Knowledge in RM in the Ingredients, Chemical, Cosmetics Industry
• SAP knowledge is a plus
• Understand and execute Tail Spend strategy.
• Leads Sourcing Strategy in project development meetings when required.
• Ensure all the transactions within your scope follow up company's SOPs and best practices, so that they're compliant according to internal audits and policies.
• Uses Auction Tools, RFIs, RFQs, RFPs and/or sealed bids.
• Creates leveraged agreements / legal contracts as appropriate.
• Calculates and reports accomplishments in all appropriate systems.
• Resolve and document issues with suppliers regarding delivery, quality, supply and price problems and issues with blockedinvoice for payment.
