Role Description

This is a full-time, remote role for a Head of Human Resources. The Head of Human Resources will oversee HR strategies, policies, and operations to ensure compliance and alignment with the company’s goals. Day-to-day tasks include managing employee relations, implementing HR programs and developing HR policies. The role requires close collaboration with team leaders and other departments to foster a positive work environment.

Key Responsabilities

Strategic HR Leadership

• Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, enabling high-performing and engaged teams.

• Provide insight on organizational effectiveness, team dynamics, and leadership development.

• Partner with leadership to shape talent strategy, succession planning, and workforce design.

Talent & Culture Development

• Organize and lead engagement initiatives such as team-building events, quarterly meetings, and year-end gatherings.

• Conduct regular feedback and performance sessions to strengthen employee development and accountability.

• Champion company culture and foster alignment with core values in a remote-first environment.

Organizational Design & Change Management

• Lead organizational structure discussions that promote scalability, clarity, and accountability.

• Manage change communication plans in collaboration with leadership.

People Programs & Policy Execution

• Localize and implement key HR programs (e.g., performance, engagement, compensation) with relevance to business needs.

• Provide consistent application and interpretation of HR policies and procedures.

Business Partnering & Support

• Hold regular meetings with business units and managers to provide coaching and HR guidance.

• Support day-to-day HR operations in collaboration with People Partners, escalating and resolving complex employee matters.

Retention & Workforce Analytics

• Analyze trends related to employee turnover, engagement, and performance.

• Design and recommend solutions to increase retention and improve the employee experience.

• Use data to deliver clear, actionable insights that inform HR and business strategy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or HR certifications are a plus).
  • 4+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a strategic business partnering or HR leadership role.
  • Proven track record in remote or distributed team environments.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting international or multicultural teams is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience in organizational design, talent planning, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Comfort with people analytics and HR data tools to generate insights and support strategic decisions.
  • Proficiency with HR software and tools (e.g. GSuite, Slack, Notion).
  • Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence and advise senior leadership with credibility and clarity.
  • High emotional intelligence and sound judgment in navigating complex interpersonal issues.
  • Strong alignment with a remote-first, trust-based, and autonomy-driven work culture.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English.
  • Comfortable working across time zones and cultures.
