Lieu : Herstal, BelgiumMission: Main Responsibilities:

• Manage a set of projects in accordance with the strategy defined
• Define strategic portfolio plan
• Manage a set of R&D projects (both Self-Funded and Customer Funded ones) relying on different project managers
• Align projects to strategic objectives
• based on clear project objectives, define initial project baselines in cooperation with project managers
• Ensure that the objectives of the different projects are aligned with the strategy at any time
• Identify potential bottleneck and set priorities as required
• Review financial figures (actuals and estimated to complete) of each project individually on a monthly basis with corresponding project manager and put them in perspective with the progress based on the Earn Valued Management methodology.
• Consolidate the project portfolio’s financial figures
• Identify any lack of resources (quantity or skill) to achieve project portfolio objectives and suggest appropriate actions
• Manage risks and opportunities at project portfolio level
• Define appropriate key performance indicators and carry out the corresponding reporting to the management

Profile:Required Level Of Studies And Experience

• Master degree in Engineering or Business administration, with at least 10 years’ experience in project/portfolio management in a high-tech environment.
• An experience working for an international company;
• Project or Portfolio management certification such as PMP or IPMA is clearly an asset;

• You like to analyze figures and you are particularly familiar with financial data;
• You are able to think out of the box;
• You have strong spoken and written communication skills;

• You are fluent in French and English (oral and written communication);
