Description:

JOB PURPOSE: Responsible for fund, endowment and grant financial management across all four Piedmont Foundations. Ensures accuracy of financial data through routine financial audits and close partnership with Piedmont Healthcare Finance and Treasury teams. Prepares and reviews routine financial reports with clinical managers, finance team members and Chief Financial Officers across the system. Also, prepares fund and endowment details regarding contributions and expenses to Foundation team members. Post-award grants management duties such as timely submitting routine clinical and financial reports to the granting organization. This position will work closely with all four Piedmont foundations and support the financial operations of these teams.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: Bachelors degree from a recognized college or university in Business, Finance, Accounting or closely - related field. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: One (1) year of progressive work experience in financial/operational analysis. MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: None. ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Requires advanced computer skills with a strong knowledge of spreadsheet programs. Experience managing federal and non-federal grants preferred. Experience with database and decision support systems preferred. Leadership qualities, including creativity, innovation, collaboration and critical thinking. Ability to perform under stressful and changing circumstances and deadlines. Effective written and oral communication skills.
