JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Provides accounting support and expertise to the accounting department
• Maintains bookkeeping databases and spreadsheets and updating information as needed
• Communicates with previous clients and customers to request payment and arranges payment plans where needed
• Collects payments from customers and accurately recording them in the system
• Creates reports and balance sheets that document overall profits and losses
• Updates client accounts based on payment or contact information
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent required, associated degree in accounting preferred
• 3 years previous billing experience preferred
• Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Aptitude for numbers
• Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks
• Data entry and word processing skills
• Well organized
• Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software
