ESSENTIAL TASKS:

• Ensure that payroll is processed timely and accurately.
• Assist in payroll calculations, deductions, insurance coverage, wage garnishments, tax fillings, and reporting.
• Maintain employee payroll records up to date and accurate.
• Prepare employee wage summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leaves, Paid time off, and benefits.
• Address payroll related queries and requests from employees.
• Review and implement improvements to existing payroll procedures.
• Analyze payroll problems and provide appropriate resolutions.
• Follow and enforce federal, state and local payroll laws.
• Provide assistance to payroll staff and conduct performance evaluations.
• Coordinate with HR and finance teams to carry out payroll processing.
• Quarterly and other financial reporting to the finance team.
• Prepare, balance, and distribute tax forms to employees.
• All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Setting goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with the company's plan and vision.
• Organizing workflow and ensuring that employees understand their duties or delegated delegate.

MINIMUM TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT REQUIRED:

• MS Office (Word, Excel, Teams, Email)
• Sharepoint

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma or equivalency.
• At least one year experience in payroll.
• Knowledge of Payroll Laws both state and federal.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Able to lift or move up to 25 pounds.
• Able to sit for 6-8 hours per day.
• Able to work in a stressful environment.
• Able to complete multi-tasks and multi-deadlines.
• Able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Able to communicate effectively.
• Is able to work as scheduled and report to work on time.
• Able to read, comprehend and comply with instructions from company manuals.
• Able to comply with agency and CDC infection control protocols.
