The Recruiter drives the full-cycle recruiting process by sourcing, reviewing resumes, coordinating screenings and interviews, and determining the suitability of applicants; creates and extends offers of employment, pre-hires and on-boards new Ambassadors. This role continues the commitment to our employees by developing department-specific training materials, and conducting in-person or video trainings as needed. This role is in-person located at Goodwill's Los Angeles Campus. Essential Duties & Responsibilities 1. Works in a highly collaborative manner with hiring managers, key stakeholders, and business partners to better understand each department's staffing needs. 2. Proactively sources candidates using various platforms. Attends in-person events, such as job fairs, open houses, and campus recruiting events, to maintain an active pipeline of diverse candidates for current and future positions. 3. Quickly and efficiently screens and schedules incoming applicants. 4. Creates and extends offers of employment/promotion to ensure candidates are fully ready to begin employment. 5. Completes pre-hire and onboarding processes with new hires, including I-9 verification of eligibility to work, and presenting, collecting and uploading required hiring and onboarding documents. 6. Applies innovative thinking to create training materials that reflect our internal customer, departmental, and organizational needs. Suggests enhancements to existing training and development programs. 7. Delivers in-person trainings and hosts on-line learning sessions as needed. Provides learning/training support to employees. 8. Supports workforce planning activities, including employer brand, talent reviews, succession planning and creating opportunities for Ambassadors to further their career. 9. This position requires some local travel (about 25% to 50% of the time) a valid CA driver's license and state-required auto insurance are necessary. Driving record must be acceptable by the Company's insurance vendor.
