JOB DESCRIPTION
Priority1 in Little Rock, AR is seeking an experienced Truckload Accounts Payable Coordinator. The successful applicant will have previous experience in accounts payable, logistics or transportation industry. Applicant must be organized with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with exceptional attention to detail.
This role will function as an accounts payable liaison from carrier to staff and external partners.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Verify that carrier invoices comply with Priority1 financial policies and procedures.
- Receive, verify and process carrier invoices and ensure accurate customer invoices are generated from approved carrier invoices.
- Respond to payment status inquiries and rate confirmations from carriers and factoring companies.
- Effectively research, analyze and resolve carrier invoice discrepancies.
- Correct errors or list discrepancies for adjustment, including communication via phone or email with carriers, staff and external partners.
- Provide excellent support to internal and external business partners.
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous accounts payable experience ideally in a high-volume, fast paced environment preferred.
- Computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Experience with NetSuite preferred.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to constant changes in work environment, work assignments and changes in priorities.
- Ability to work within compressed timeframes and embrace the sense of urgency, innovation and resourcefulness required in a fast-paced company.
- High School Diploma or GED

Physical Requirements:
Job functions require long periods of sitting and working from computer workstation; ability to multi-task, problem solve, and prioritize daily workload; excellent organization and record keeping skills; comfortable with oral and written communications, primarily on the telephone and email. Requires extended periods of sitting, normal walking, bending, twisting, and stretching. Capability of sight and hearing required. Ability to deal with stressful situations and occasionally working extended hours. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
