What we're looking for:

As General Manager, you will be responsible for planning, prioritizing, and maintaining order within our warehouse operations. This role will require effective management of people and resources, as well as monitoring safety and productivity, all while staying within budget. The General Manager will work with the executive team, while overseeing the facility, to accomplish the goals and objectives of the company.

What you'll do (including, but not limited to):

• Manage the entire workforce of the facility - including managers, supervisors, administrators and warehouse workers.
• Oversee the daily operations of the cold storage facility.
• Ensure strategic goals are met.
• Sustain operational policies.
• Maintain and improve upon efficient use of storage and dock space.
• Create and maintain budgets to meet corporate targets.
• Act as liaison to clients, account management and provide excellent customer service.
• Review KPI's, reports, and statistics with facility leaders and executive team.
• Govern warehouse, food and employee safe practices and total quality management.
• Monitor and maintain appropriate room temperatures, regulatory compliance, licenses, and certifications.

Requirements:

What you'll bring to the role:

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
• 7-10 years of operations management in Supply Chain, Warehousing or related field.
• Experience in managing employees in a warehouse setting.
• Proficient in working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Proven communication skills with both employees and customers.
• Demonstrated background in budgeting, cost control and profitability.
• Trained in Total Quality Management, Commercial Refrigeration, Inventory/Supply Chain Management and Hazard and Safety Management.
• Fluent in both English and Spanish (verbal and written) is required for this location.
