Position Summary: Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Testing Coordinator. Boca Raton, FL The Testing Coordinator will report directly to the Assistant Director of Testing and Certification. Summary of Responsibilities:

• Supervises as well as administers State and National testing, other computer-based and internet-based testing, proctored correspondence and make up testing.
• Supervises all aspects of computer testing in five computer labs with 90 workstations, as well as the Prometric Testing Center Lab.
• Meets regularly with the Associate and Assistant Director to discuss weekly operations.
• Upholds confidentiality policies as determined by the federal government, state, university and testing entities.
• Requires essential vendor certifications to administer computer based exams given at the testing center.
• Operates computers and specialized software and other equipment.
• Provides training as necessary.
• Maintains interdepartmental communications, as necessary and appropriate, to ensure the achievement of the Department's mission.
• Attends periodic training programs as a participant and/or trainer, including but not limited to briefing the departmental staff regarding operations, policies and procedures for Testing and Certification.
• Assists in training all personnel regarding checking identifications, monitoring computer logins for students, and setting up workstations, to ensure a controlled testing environment.
• Supervises the close-down phase of the computers after testing is completed.
• Supervises and maintains file documentation for all tests.
• Resolves questions from potential test applicants, FAU students and others about test registration process, as well as monitoring telephone calls to provide information as needed.
• Provides information for Test Preparation to customers who call or visit the center
