Team Relations Supervisor
The Team Relations Supervisor is responsible for the Multidisciplinary Team Coordination Program (MDTCP) within Alliance For Children. The Team Relations Supervisor will provide support and supervision to MDT Coordination Program staff as well as support a teamed approach to child abuse investigations and provision of services.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.
- Three years demonstrated relevant work experience required, including some work experience involving working with families at risk preferred.
- Working knowledge of child and family dynamics, knowledge of child abuse dynamics.
- Strong reading and evaluative skills.
- Proven strong leadership skills.
- Ability to be organized, detail-oriented, and self-prioritize.
- Ability to evaluate case information.
- Effective networking skills and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must have valid driver's license and proof of liability insurance.
- Must pass criminal and civil background check.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and present in a positive, professional manner at all times.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
Job Duties/Essential Functions:
- Oversight of the multidisciplinary team (MDT) response to appropriate cases throughout official service area.
- Oversight of coordination of investigative activities between law enforcement and Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS).
- Minimize law enforcement and DFPS administrative responsibilities related to the coordination of investigations, scheduling of forensic interviews and referral for medical examinations (per MDT Protocols).
- Train and supervise Intake Specialists and MDT Coordinators for the appropriate support and service provision for case assessment and recommendation.
- Troubleshoot any system breakdown for clients who have accessed Alliance For Children services as related to MDTCP.
- Organize and facilitate regular case review meetings.
- Organize and implement team appreciation events.
- Cultivate a culture of teamwork within multidisciplinary team.
- Cultivate a culture of team cohesion within department and inter-department relationships.
- Maintain, supervise, and evaluate data related to case intake and recommendations.
- Supervise interns when applicable
- Perform other related duties as requested by Director of Team Relations, Chief Program Officer or Chief Executive Director.
Physical Requirements:
Able to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, kneel and twist on an intermittent and sometimes continuous basis. Able to grasp, push, pull objects and reach overhead. Able to operate a telephone and computer. Able to lift up to 20 lbs. Moderate independent travel by private auto required.
