Role Overview
Sodexo is currently searching a Vice President, Culinary for our Campus & Government segments.
The VP of Culinary leads the Campus and Government Culinary Strategy, aligning with Segment leadership, Marketing, Finance, Supply Management, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
They oversee:
- Menu & Recipe Development: Ensuring quality, cost-efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Culinary & Menu Processes: Meeting theoretical cost targets by menu type.
- Supply Management: Defining product specs and financial metrics to drive value.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Collaborating with CSR to integrate sustainable food and packaging strategies and measure impact.

What You'll Do
- Culinary Strategy & Execution: Drives innovation and manages the Culinary Development and Menu Team, ensuring projects meet cost targets and business objectives.
- Product & Menu Development: Owns the product selection process for food and non-food items, using qualitative and quantitative metrics to drive financial performance.
- Team Leadership & Development: Leads talent development, training, and succession planning for culinary professionals.
- Client-Focused Innovation: Supports RFPs and collaborates with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to deliver competitive, client-centric menu solutions.
Effectively communicates culinary innovation strategy across the organization, fostering alignment and engagement.

What You Bring
- Proven ability to deliver high-impact projects on time and within budget to meet ambitious goals.
- Culinary expertise with deep food service industry knowledge
- 10+ years in Product Development (culinary background preferred)
- 5+ years in operations (preferred)
- Strong project management and financial acumen
- Skilled in public speaking and presentations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
