Title: Sr. Financial Analyst Location: Hybrid — 3 days onsite in Carlsbad Compensation: $95K - $115K DOE Company: Sporting Goods & Retail Industry

A well-known consumer brand rooted in sustainability and a surf-inspired culture is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to join its lean and collaborative team. This hybrid role supports two dynamic businesses and is best suited for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, ever-evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead cash flow forecasting and analysis to support strategic decision-making — this will be a primary focus of the role

• Forecasting, budgeting, and monthly financial analysis across multiple entities

• Prepare variance analysis, ad-hoc board reporting, and executive presentations

• Support monthly financial reviews and deliver actionable insights

• FP&A data integration and dashboard building; maintain robust reporting templates

• Map and maintain current chart of accounts; identify opportunities for process improvements as the business evolves

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field

• 5-7 years of progressive FP&A experience, ideally in retail or consumer goods

• Proven cash flow forecasting expertise — must have hands-on experience managing and improving cash flow models

• Advanced Excel skills; comfortable building and maintaining complex models

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; able to shift between big-picture and detail-oriented tasks
