Job Description:

Looking for true flexibility, independence, and the chance to manage your own projects from start to finish? This Land Surveyor / Project Surveyor position based in Denver, CO (fully remote within 60 miles) offers a rare opportunity to take control of your schedule while performing meaningful fieldwork across the state of Colorado. With a company vehicle, minimal office visits (less than 5 times a year), and the freedom to set your own hours, this is a unique role for surveyors who thrive working solo in the field and enjoy handling all aspects of the project lifecycle.

Qualifications and responsibilities for this Land Surveyor / Project Surveyor position include:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Party Chief or Crew Chief and at least 2 years of drafting experience
• Proficient in CAD and Civil 3D drafting
• Ability to manage projects independently from county research to final drafting
• Experience conducting fieldwork with Trimble equipment (GPS, Total Station, data collectors)
• Must be able to produce complete survey drawings and resolve boundaries using field data
• Clean driving record required (company vehicle provided)
• Familiarity with boundary, ILCs, and topographic surveys across varied terrain in Colorado
• Capable of providing proof of independently drafted surveysSalary: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
