Job Description:

Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Transportation Engineer to join the Olympic Region (OR) Utilities Office to serve as Utility Inspector & Accommodations Engineers. As a Transportation Engineer 2 for the Olympic Region Utilities Office, the incumbent will be responsible for processing and inspection of Utility Franchise, Permits, and Agreements associated with the accommodation, installation, and maintenance of utilities within the state right of way.

They will also provide support to the Project Accommodations Engineer on WSDOT Projects. This position is essential for the project delivery of WSDOT projects by coordinating the relocation of existing utilities in order deliver projects on time and within scope and budget. Through effective application of the Accommodation Policy, this position ensures the coordinated management of utility installations within WSDOT

Right of Way.
