Job Summary
Under general supervision, the Advisor will serve as a Chief of Staff supporting the Vice President of Platform Engineering, Software Development Lifecycle, and Service Management. This role plays a key part in enabling strategic execution, driving operational excellence, and supporting cross-functional initiatives. The Advisor will help coordinate key programs and processes, manage internal communications, and provide strategic and tactical support to the VP and leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic partner and advisor to the VP, supporting decision-making, planning, and organizational alignment.
- Coordinate and track progress of organizational initiatives, including status reporting, financial tracking, and key deliverables.
- Facilitate effective and timely communication across internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead or support projects and programs on behalf of the VP, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
- Assist with internal operational activities such as org-wide planning, communication cascades, and leadership briefings.
- Prepare meeting materials including agendas, notes, and follow-ups for leadership and stakeholder discussions.
- Support process improvement initiatives and help implement best practices in governance, communication, and execution.
- Draft, review, and organize internal communications and documentation, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Represent the VP in meetings and initiatives as needed.
- Collaborate with project management, finance, HR, and other internal partners to ensure consistency and alignment across functions.
- Provide informal guidance or mentorship to junior team members or peers when appropriate.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, business administration, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a business or technology environment, including project coordination, operational support, or cross-functional collaboration roles.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with a track record of managing multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical thinking and the ability to interpret financial, operational, or organizational data.
- Experience supporting leadership-level stakeholders and managing executive-level communications.
- Knowledge of or experience with project management and process improvement frameworks is preferred.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to connect day-to-day tasks to long-term business goals.
Domicile
Preference for Memphis, TN. Remote work within the U.S. may be considered based on business need.
Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in business or related quantitative discipline.
Minimum Experience
Five (5) years exempt experience in project/program management, product development, systems design/development or business /financial planning and analysis. Experience in the use of project management/planning software. Experience in planning major projects including development of project proposals, business cases, schedules, and financial justification.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and planning skills.
Knowledge of standard program and financial management techniques.
Strong human relations, leadership, and communication skills.
Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
Pay: U.S. Pay Range: $7,094.23/month - $12,533.14/month
