Overview

Reporting to the Finance Controller, the Revenue Reconciliation Manager will be responsible for supporting retail store operations and performing revenue reconciliations for Moncler and Stone Island, with a focus on both retail and E-commerce channels. The role will also contribute to new store openings across the USA and Canada and provide support to Moncler Mexico and Moncler Brazil, as needed. 

The position will additionally serve as a backup for select treasury functions within the Shared Services structure and support internal and external audits, including sales and use tax audits. 

This individual will also assist the Finance Controller in implementing internal controls and developing policies and procedures related to revenue reconciliation and other finance-related processes. 

Your Impact
  • Perform daily reconciliation of sales data from POS systems to bank deposits and the general ledger. 
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies among POS, bank, and ERP systems in a timely manner. 
  • Monitor and manage clearing accounts, ensuring prompt resolution of unmatched or aged items. 
  • Prepare journal entries related to revenue recognition, payment processing fees, and revenue adjustments. 
  • Reconcile various payment types including credit card, cash, gift card, and third-party sales and refunds. 
  • Support the monthly financial close process by preparing revenue accruals and completing account reconciliations. 
  • Collaborate with store operations, IT, and treasury teams to resolve data integrity or deposit-related issues. 
  • Maintain and update documentation of reconciliation procedures to ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance standards. 
  • Assist with internal and external audits, including the preparation of revenue-related schedules and timely responses to audit inquiries. 
  • Participate in ad hoc analysis, reporting, and special projects aimed at improving reconciliation accuracy and process efficiency. 
  • Provide support for revenue reconciliation activities related to Moncler Mexico and Moncler Brazil, as needed. 
  • Serve as a backup for treasury-related functions under the Shared Services structure (SSC) based in HQ Italy, handling assigned local treasury tasks.

Qualifications

Education 

  •  Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business required. 

Work Experience  

  •  Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, revenue reconciliation, or financial operations; retail or e-commerce industry experience preferred. 

Core Skills & Attributes 

  • Proficiency in Excel/ERP system; SAP experience will be a plus 
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical skills 
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment 

Additional Information  

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York, Moncler includes a reasonable estimate of the salary rate range for this role. This considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications. A  reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $105,000 to $125,000 per year. 

In addition to competitive pay,  the hired candidate will also be eligible for an annual, and a comprehensive benefits package including  medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, paid parental leave, 11 paid holidays, accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation time, 2 personal days, employee discounts, and a retirement plan with employer contribution. 

The position requires 4 days per week on site in the Moncler Corporate Office, located in the heart of Soho, Manhattan
