Responsibilities include leading engineering initiatives through all development stages, coordinating across multiple teams including engineering, supply chain, vehicle programs, manufacturing, and operations leadership to ensure successful project execution.

What You'll Do

Manage cross-functional programs from end-to-end, covering various areas of thermal engineering while coordinating with manufacturing, production, design, test, and firmware teams

Facilitate technical deep-dives with engineering teams, cost analysis with global supply managers, and assembly/service evaluations with manufacturing and service engineers

Apply critical thinking to make data-driven decisions that advance key technologies aligned with Tesla's mission

Define and drive schedules for new project launches, technology development milestones, and sustaining programs to ensure on-time delivery

Continuously improve processes and systems to enhance precision and dependability while maintaining Tesla's signature agility

Oversee documentation to track project status and issues, ensuring timely completion

Lead teams with confidence through rapid development cycles, evolving requirements, and uncertainty

What You'll Bring

Degree in relevant Engineering discipline, or equivalent experience

Minimum of 2 years of program or project management experience in cross-functional programs with an engineering focus and manufacturing operations exposure

Experience in fast-paced environments with end-to-end product deployment from concept through development to successful launch

Ability to operate with limited resources, work independently, meet tight deadlines, and act with urgency

Proven experience in building and managing effective program management tools and processes

Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills for working in highly cross-functional settings

Exceptional organizational and delegation skills with the ability to own the product roadmap

Expected Compensation

$88,000 - $186,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
