About the Role

We're hiring an iOS Engineer to join our Mobile squad as an experienced iOS developer who specializes in Swift and Objective-C. You'll partner with other engineers, product managers and designers who are dedicated to improve live-shift workflow efficiency for restaurants and surface actionable insights to our users. Our goal is to work closely with venue operators to understand their needs and build/maintain our mobile products that fundamentally transform the hospitality industry.

You're excited about this opportunity because you will…

• Work with fullstack, backend, product and customer success teams. Design and develop new features in the mobile app while creating new UI components and platform-specific experiences.
• Architect services within the mobile app and across our other systems. Sync and mutate data while debugging features, crashes, bug reports, and memory management concerns.
• Identify potential performance problems and resolve application bottlenecks. Help maintain code quality, organization, unit testing and automation while reviewing code with teammates.
• Participate in user research and testing to better understand our customers. Write documentation for new systems and processes related to development.
• Ship the app to iTunes Connect, TestFlight and the App Store. Use automated deployment tools while communicating with the team on how best to implement new features and shape the future of our product.

We're excited about you because…

• You have 4+ years of experience shipping iOS applications utilizing Objective-C and Swift, with deep understanding of at least one of them
• You have experience designing and publishing apps on the App Store that communicate heavily with a REST API
• You have extensive experience with iOS Frameworks such as Core Data and care about Apple's design principles and application interface guidelines
• You are passionate about creating mobile experiences that help restaurants operate more efficiently and provide better guest experiences
• You thrive in collaborative environments working with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and customer success while maintaining high code quality standards

Compensation

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee's work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

• For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.
• For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).

The national base pay range for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado.

$159,800—$235,000 USD
