Location: 28269 and 5 days/week on-site with some flexibility
Duration: 6-month contract-to-hire
About the Role:
Join a growing infrastructure and security team that's expanding to meet increasing organizational needs. This role will start as the sole patching specialist on the team, with a clear path to grow into vulnerability management responsibilities. You'll work closely with a small, collaborative group (3 team members including the manager) and play a critical role in endpoint security and automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead patch management efforts across the organization.
- Configure, customize, and administer Microsoft Intune for endpoint management.
- Implement “Patch My PC” for automation and streamlined updates.
- Manage O365 and Microsoft Defender security configurations.
- Assist in setting up Intune properly for long-term scalability.
- Conduct credential scans against equipment using Tenable (for reporting and security insights).
- Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to transition into a Vulnerability Manager role.
- Microsoft Intune (group creation, customization, administration)
- Patch Management & Automation (experience with Patch My PC is a plus)
- Endpoint Management expertise
- O365 administration
- Microsoft Defender security management
- Tenable experience preferred (currently used for weekly reporting)
- Python scripting a strong plus
