We've partnered with a Financial Services Firm in Jersey City, NJ who is looking for a finance candidate to join their team.  This is an entry-level role that involves helping to process and settle financial trades, working with internal teams and external partners to make sure everything runs smoothly.    Responsibilities:

• Help process and settle stock and bond trades through DTC (Depository Trust Company).

• Double-check trade details like account numbers and quantities to make sure everything is correct.

• Handle incoming trade requests and make sure they meet daily deadlines.

• Communicate with clients and brokers by email or phone to fix any issues or answer questions.

• Flag and escalate any trade problems to your manager, especially high-value issues.

• Keep records and assist with basic reporting tasks.

• Work closely with your team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

• Look for ways to improve how tasks are done and increase efficiency.

Candidate Requirements:

• Must Have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business.
• Prior finance/accounting internship experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
