Revenue Cycle Director (Healthcare | Medi-Cal Focus) Los Angeles, CA (Onsite) $150,000-$200,000 annually | Contract-to-Hire

Vaco is seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Director to lead and stabilize revenue cycle operations! This role focuses on compliance with Medi-Cal billing requirements, while providing oversight of billing, claims, denials, and collections. 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee provider revenue cycle operations, including billing, claims, denials, and collections

• Ensure compliance with Medi-Cal billing and payer requirements

• Drive operational performance and process improvements

• Mentor and develop team members in billing and collections functions

• Partner with clinical and financial leadership to ensure revenue integrity

Must-Have Qualifications

• 5 years of provider revenue cycle management experience

• Strong expertise in Medi-Cal billing and compliance

• Proven leadership and team management skills

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Epic Professional Billing (PB) experience

• Experience in pediatric or orthopedic care settings

• Background in process improvement and operational efficiency

Role Details

• Type: Contract-to-Hire (6 months then conversion to staff)

• Compensation: $150,000-$200,000 annually bonus

• Location: Fully onsite, Los Angeles, CA (Adams Blvd area)

• Start Date: ASAP
