Job Title: HR Payroll Specialist (2-Month Contract)Location: West Seattle, WA (On-site)Employment Type: Full-Time, ContractDuration: 2 MonthsStart Date: ASAP

We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Payroll Specialist to support our Human Resources team during a busy period. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys working at the intersection of payroll and employee support. This is a 2-Month contract position and does not plan on extending past 60days.What You'll Do:

• Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and company policies

• Maintain employee records in the HRIS and payroll systems

• Support new hire onboarding with payroll setup and direct deposit enrollment

• Respond to employee questions regarding pay, timekeeping, and deductions

• Collaborate with HR and Benefits teams to ensure seamless employee experiences

• Assist with audits, reporting, and year-end payroll tasks as needed

What We're Looking For:

• 4+ years of experience in payroll processing within an HR department

• Familiarity with HRIS and payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paycom, Paylocity, or similar)

• Strong understanding of wage and hour laws, payroll taxes, and confidentiality practices

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently and manage sensitive information with discretion

Pay Details: $30.00 to $34.00 per hour
