Position Overview

LHH Recruitment is seeking a seasoned Employee Relations Specialist to support our large client's HR team in managing complex employee relations matters. This fully remote role is ideal for someone with strong investigative skills, a deep understanding of leave management, and a passion for resolving workplace issues with fairness and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and timely investigations into employee complaints, conflicts, and policy violations.

• Provide guidance and support on leave of absence cases, including FMLA, ADA, and other protected leaves.

• Partner with HR leadership to assess risk and recommend appropriate actions in employee relations cases.

• Document all employee relations activities with accuracy and confidentiality.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on workplace concerns and resolution strategies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of direct experience in employee relations, including investigations and leave management.

• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.

• Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism.

• Must reside in Oregon or Washington to be considered.

Pay Details: $36.00 to $44.00 per hour
