Payroll ClerkLocation: Onsite in Seattle, WAContract Length: 8 monthsPay Rate: $25-$30/hour DOE

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk for an onsite 8-month contract in Seattle, WA. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills who can accurately process payroll data, support payroll reporting, and ensure timely, accurate payments for employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, review, and enter employee timesheets and payroll data

• Verify accuracy of wages, deductions, and hours worked

• Assist in processing payroll in compliance with company policies and applicable laws

• Maintain payroll files and employee records

• Support payroll team with reconciliations and reporting

• Assist with year-end processes including W-2s and tax filings

• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll information

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of payroll or accounting support experience

• Basic understanding of payroll procedures and compliance regulations

• Proficiency in payroll software (ADP, Workday, or similar) and Microsoft Excel

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Excellent organizational and communication skills
