We're seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Medical Collector. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact by ensuring the financial health of the organization and supporting the critical mission of providing excellent patient care.
ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage patient accounts, ensuring accurate and timely collections of outstanding balances.
Engage with patients, insurance companies, and medical staff to resolve billing issues and expedite payments.
Utilize your analytical skills to review account histories and identify trends, implementing strategies to improve collections.
Maintain comprehensive records of all interactions and transactions, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and internal policies.
Proactively address and resolve any discrepancies or disputes in billing, providing exceptional customer service to patients and stakeholders.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical collections, insurance follow up.
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in medical billing and coding is a plus.
This position is ONSITE. Monday to Friday
Pay Details: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour
