Payroll AdministratorLocation: Onsite in Seattle, WAContract Length: 8 monthsPay Rate: $29-$34/hour DOE

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator for an onsite 8-month contract in Seattle, WA. The Payroll Administrator will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining compliance with regulations, and serving as a point of contact for payroll-related inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer end-to-end payroll processing for multi-state employees in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

  • Maintain accurate employee payroll records, including earnings, deductions, and benefits

  • Prepare and reconcile payroll reports, including journal entries for accounting

  • Manage payroll tax reporting and assist with audits as needed

  • Partner with HR to ensure employee data is updated and accurate in payroll systems

  • Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries

  • Assist with year-end processing, including W-2s and tax filings

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of payroll administration or payroll processing experience (union payroll a plus)

  • Strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance standards

  • Proficiency in payroll systems (ADP, Workday, or similar) and Microsoft Excel

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
